About markc.tech

Built on two very different kinds of experience

markc.tech exists to bring enterprise-grade discipline to teams that don't have an enterprise-sized budget — one point of contact, real conversations, and no jargon.

Enterprise & federal-scale governance experience
Hands-on, mission-driven support
How we got here

From federal-scale governance to small business, and back

Most of our working hours go into governance, risk, and automation programs for large, mission-driven organizations — the kind of work where a missed control or a sloppy process has real consequences. That work shaped how we think about technology: fewer moving parts, clear ownership, and nothing left to guesswork.

markc.tech applies that same discipline to businesses that will never need an enterprise-sized IT department, but deserve the same level of care. Fogarty Construction is a good example — a business that ran on paper files until we brought them onto email, a professional website, and a support relationship they could rely on. That project, and others like it, is why markc.tech exists.

We don't believe small businesses should have to choose between "cheap and unreliable" and "expensive and overbuilt." The goal is the middle: technology that's sized correctly, explained in plain language, and backed by someone who answers the phone.

How we work

One point of contact, always

Three principles that shape every engagement, big or small.

Plain-language advice

You'll get a recommendation and the reasoning behind it — never a vendor pitch dressed up as advice.

Right-sized solutions

We build and recommend for the business you actually run, not the one a software vendor wishes you were.

A real relationship

One person who knows your setup, answers when something breaks, and checks in before it does.
